James River Special Education Cooperative (JRSEC) is a multi-district special education unit serving the Districts of Edgeley, Ellendale, Kulm, Jamestown, LaMoure, Litchville-Marion, Medina and Montpelier. The special education unit provides services to students with special needs between the ages of 3-21. Total student enrollment within the Cooperative is approximately 4,000 students. Approximately 60 licensed special education staff work within the cooperative. JRSEC is located in North Dakota and is centrally located 100 miles from Bismarck, Fargo, Devil’s Lake and Aberdeen, SD. Jamestown, ND has approximately 16,000 people. JRSEC is committed to continual improvement of special education services for students, educators and families.
